Course Modules

1. Types of Events & Planning Workflows

We begin by categorizing the event landscape in Uganda. You will learn the specific workflows for corporate launches, social celebrations, and luxury weddings, ensuring you have a repeatable system for every client.

2. Budgeting, Vendor Management & Timelines

This lesson covers the "Big Three." You will learn how to create profitable budgets, how to vet and negotiate with elite vendors, and the technical art of drafting a master event timeline.

3. Client Communication & Professionalism

Focus on the soft skills that define a pro. We cover lead inquiry handling, professional presentation during consultations, and the psychology of managing high-net-worth client expectations.

4. Event Execution & Troubleshooting

A deep dive into time management. Learn how to draft minute-by-minute schedules for the bridal party, vendors, and the venue to ensure zero downtime.

5. Planning Documents & Checklists

You will be guided through the essential paperwork. We provide and explain the use of Service Contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Guest List trackers, and Load-in schedules.

6. Real Event Simulation (Physical Practical)

Held at our training facility, this is a hands-on drill. You will be tasked with solving a series of high-pressure logistical challenges in a simulated event environment to test your readiness.

7. Real Wedding Apprenticeship (Site Practical)

The capstone of the course. You will join the Lotus Events team on-site at a luxury wedding to observe real-time coordination, vendor management, and the final execution of a high-stakes event.
